Exhaust assembly advice needed 200 1993

Just about anything you use to try to seal that joint will be burned out.

Get a new donut - or go to an old school foreign auto parts dealer - mine had a board covered withn old school donuts made of various materials, some softer than the Volvo part.

The band clamp looks pretty good.

You might get a tailpipe cutter - mine has 4 cutting wheels and a screwdriver handle - you only have to move it a bit over 90 degrees to cut a pipe - makes a nice clean cut.
