Leaky overdrive

The sealing surface is smooth and shiny.
The oil isn't coming from the seal, it comes out between the mating surfaces of the flange.
In the photo you can see that the area around the output shaft is dry and no oil is dripping from the area under the transmission case.
It's going back up on jack stands today for another try.
