Manifold/header recommendations 1800 1971

I'm still looking.

There was one company that had FOUR different sizes, the smallest being 38-44mm OD primary-secondary,this is what you need for stock to mild 1.8 to 2.1L donks. 2nd best is 44-44 which is the same as stock except the middle pair get two primaries as well. This would be marginal better than stock, but only marginally. The stock exhaust manifold dampens the high frequency sound alot, but in reality is a 3-2-1 manifold. Still, if you have a cam with 220° @0.050" with 110°-111° LCA°(or less, I.e. K, D or VV-61) you have no effective overlap triangle, so you just need free flowing headers. If you can't find 38-44, then 44-44 will be adequate.

The ipd headers are JUNK. The vpd header are jack of all trades, master of none, and the new collector is rubbish. KG Trimning are too big for mild street engines.
