Crossmember swap question 444-544 1962

I'm new to volvo.I bought a 62 pv544 that i'm building and and 1963 pv544 parts car.I was offered a full disc brake front end out of a 122s for $300 by a local guy.I know there's tons of info on swapping the 122s crossmember into the pv544 on line.The one detail I can't find is if the 122 crossmember bolts into the 544 using it's stock mounting hole and the 544 subframe crossmember holes.

This is the only detail i'm having trouble locating on the swap.

Also would the 122s transmission be an upgrade to my pv544?

A little background on myself,i'm 53 and have owned a dozen or so muscle cars,4 mgb's,a 29 and a 30 ford model A,a 51 ford shoebox,and various other cars.None of these cars have been "extra nice" but I put them together or kept them running.Thanks to anyone who read this far.
