A/C Universal Compressor Oil and Leak Detection 900 1995

Thanks again Amarin.

This afternoon I hooked up the R134a and ran it in even though it was leaking (your no. 3 in an earlier post) and heard the hiss coming from the condensor. I was able to get the compressor to kick-in but that kicked-out as soon as I turned the blue valve off.

I didn't see any sign of the UV dye on the condensor but the hissing was definitely coming from the condensor. The lack of dye makes me think the compressor oil is quite low.

I'm wondering how to proceed after I replace the condensor as far as compressor oil since I probably lost quite a bit?

Are there any condensors that are good aftermarket or ones to avoid?
