1800 Seat Brackets - F and R 1800

Everyone has been great in helping me acclimate to working on my first Volvo - albeit an old one. Now I have another issue I'm facing with this car.

Its a 1971 1800E. Ok shape but alot of short cut fixes in its life, enough that I want to not only make them work again, but do it correctly. I bought some new-used seat covers and removed the front seats to make them whole again. The brackets that mount to the floor are so corroded (no rust really), that the back bolts on both seats were stripped out. Will need a new nut welded in - might do it in a way that also replaces the spacer too.

Is it possible to disassemble the sliding rails for cleaning / polishing? They seem to stop in both directions and I cant for the life of me see what to remove to slide them apart.

Also, my rear seats hinges are also badly rusted. How do you replace these?

Thanks for any help.
Jeff
