Newer Volvos are either awd or fwd not really a replacement if you liked rwd
5 series bmw are much closer to your S90, smooth inline 6(or ridiculous v8)
Great handling I went from 240 to E46(325 wagon)felt like home instantly.
Almost like where Volvo should have evolved instead of throwing everything out
and going FWD.
