Armrest w/ Cupholders 700

Hi everyone,

Just picked up one of those armrests/(center console lids) with the four cup holders: two that pull out from the front and two that pull out the back. Came out of a 92' 740.

My question: has anyone ever swapped the back and front cupholder parts that slide out? And if so how to go about it. The back holders are in very nice shape, the fronts not so much. I started to try but am afraid I will end up breaking something.
