740 Rear end swap, dead speedo 700

replaced the failing 4.10 ABS rear end in my '92 740.
Donor car was '86 3.73 no ABS.
Before the replacement surgery the speedo would function at times, not function at times, or bounce all over the place.
After the replacement, there is NO speedo function. The connectors were different (inside of the vehicle area) from the '86 to '92, so I retained the '92 wiring.
I am not getting an ABS error.

Also, the e-brake cable seems to have shrunk by a few inches, have I possibly changed the routing of the cable?
