Stop light troubles, 1991 240 wagon 200

Hi all, having problem with my 1991 240 passenger side stop light, this is the tail light, stop light combo on the bottom of the light stack, the tail light part on both sides light up so it apperes there is power to this section of the light, the drivers side and the third stop light come on when the break is applied but the passenger side put the passenger side does not, checked the bulbs, wires look like they are ok, cleaned the contacts on the bulb socket, thought it might be the brake light switch, but if the other two stop lights are working wouldn't that indicate that the break light switch is ok? Stumped at this point, any help greatly appricated, Thanks
