Need water pump squeak remedy 200 1980

First time ever I've heard of a 240 Volvo needing water pump lubricant. And I've changed a lot of water pumps on these 240s.

Without much work at all, you might be sure it is not the typical belt squeak from cold alternator trying to recover a battery after starting: Remove the B* wire from the alternator terminal. Protect it from touching anything. Test drive.
