After running for a while on highway, doesn't start right away 200 1989

Hello fellow brickers!

I've just recently been having a problem with my volvo while on hours long drives. After I stop for gas or a bite to eat while driving for more than an hour or so, it won't start right away. It sounds like it just won't ignite or get spark.

This problem has occurred over the years. Usually after 5 more minutes of letting it sit after first trying to start it, it'll start up fine. I am wondering if this is just a hot engine thing or possibly my main ignition wire from the coil to the distributor. That's what a friend of mine was postulating.

Thanks for any advice and knowledge!
