If I can do it you can do it. And I recently did it for the first time in 35+ years. Technically it's about a 5 or 6 out of 10. Four good jack stands will be fine. Four steel ramps are even better but not a requirement. The worst part is lifting it up in there. But since it's an M40 (no OD), it shouldn't be too bad. You can get a Sachs kit with disk, pressure plate, and T/O bearing from several different suppliers like FCP, Parts Geek, and High Performance Automotive in Torrance, CA. ;-) Shop the Internet. A lot of the kits now come with a plastic alignment tool to center up the disk as you tighten the pressure plate down, making it easier to insert the trans input shaft through the clutch. You may also want to replace the pilot bearing also. Surfacing the flywheel ain't a bad idea especially if the current disk is "overdue" and digging into the flywheel.
I don't know if the Duett has a two piece drive shaft but if it does mark the relationship between the front and rear shafts and reassemble it the way it came apart.
