the old dog dish 240 hubcap trick

hi sages- the plastic wheel covers on my 92 245 volvo are cracked and chipped in places. actually look like they are about ready to crumble as most of the plastic does in old volvos. this appears to be pretty common with this type of cover. i would prefer to replace with the steel hubcaps common on the older 240 volvos. are they generally available? havent seen them in yards. will those caps on the older models snap on to the regular steel wheels on my 92 245? wonder if anybody here has a set cheap and collecting dust on the back of the top shelf in their garage or tool shed that they would be interested in selling to a po boy ? thanks tons oldduke
