245 Turbo, intermittent no-start: which culprits in crumbling engine wiring-harness? 200 1984

Hello all...

I have found that, when my 1984 245 Turbo won't start, gently wiggling it's original, crumbling engine wiring-harness at the large firewall connector will temporarily solve the problem.

I will eventually be installing, when I find the time, an updated engine wiring-harness in my car.

Until then, is anyone able to pinpoint for me the color of the specific harness-wires implicated in starting the engine?

I am thinking that I might be able to run one (or a few) new wires to temporarily bypass the defective, crumbling ones.

Thanks in advance.
