91 245overdrive switch doesn't function 200 1991

Hi I-5,

"I don't understand who someone would want to defeat this switch?"

The solenoid is expensive. If you're selling the car, you can imagine the buyer wouldn't notice the problem in a test drive.

If you do enjoy reading, I suggest taking the time to check this out: Roger Scott's Opinion

Not only does it entertain, but it addresses the common butthurts that just don't fail to happen on enthusiast forums, regardless of how tongue-in-cheek they're phrased, but it also speaks the view of someone who might just drive mainly on the plain, and has no thoughts of pulling a trailer with an old Volvo.

Have a look down under: IPD sells a plate to bypass the solenoid.
