Thought I would reply to my own question. According to Wikipedia, in 1995 Volvo modified the front suspension of the 900 series to be more like the 850 series. This resulted in an offset of about 40. So, FWD wheels are supposed to fit,. I will give it a try tomorrow. I will only report failure,.
