You need to find a set of homologation papers for the 140 series. That would list all of the parts that were available from the factory for rally and racing mods. I would be sure that an LSD wold be listed. If buying a car new you would be able to order it with many of the parts factory fitted and I'm sure the LSD would be one of them. Volvo R-Sport catalogues are viewable/downloadable on line and probably the homologation papers too. I'm sure that many export 140's were ordered with an LSD, maybe as the only extra if the car was likely to be driven in loose surface road conditions or snow. Oz qualifies!
