Safety tips on replacing your windshield 200

Hi All,

I just wanted to share these two safety tips for those who want to replace their own windshield. As always, thank you.

1. Ikea sells a cheap cutting board. It's flexible so that you can put around your belly. That would protect you from stabbing yourself accidentally.

2. When using a windshield removing tool/knife, lock your arm and step back as you cut through the butyl tape/seal. Like boxing, you are not punching with your arms but you are punching with your leg. This motion will eliminate from stabbing yourself because you will never bring that knife closer to your belly.

Happy Friday.
