Hard Starting, esy start on second try S90-V90 1997

First, I've only had the car about a week, so I know nothing of it's history, or the development of this problem. In any case, usually when I start the car I will crank it for 4-5 seconds and nothing happens. If Immediately retry, it starts right up and runs smoothly. If, initially, I leave the ignition on for about 5 seconds, still nothing. But, immediate start on the second try. I can count on this situation in the morning, at other times it seems intermittent, but I would say 80% of the time.

I am assuming a fuel problem. I bought a fuel pressure gauge today and will do some exploration. I was hoping that someone would recognize the symptoms and save me some time.
