HF Fuel Pressure Gauge kit - Does it work on Volvos? S90-V90 1997

I am having a fuel problem, so I bought the $19.95 fuel pressure kit from HF. None of the adapters seem to work. My car has the schraeder valve close to the firewall. Has anyone else had success with it?

I noted the "how to" on YouTube simply uses a rubber fuel line which runs to an old pressure gauge he had laying around. The "kit" comes with several hose clamps, should I just go buy a length fuel hose?
