Brake lines 200, 900

After a bit of a debacle involving a seized flare nut, I had to fabricate a a new section of brake line for our 1997 960 wagon using 3/16 nickel copper lines and a flaring tool. In case anyone else needs to do this, Volvo brake lines are 4.75 mm (3/16") nickel copper and the flare fittings are M10 x 1.0 ISO or what is commonly referred to as a bubble flare fitting. I used a Surr Auto HFT 50 flare tool purchased from Amazon to make my flares, and it was quite easy. I also used a cheap harbor freight tubing bender and a Ridgid mini tubing cutter to cut the tubing.

I didn't know anything about fabricating brake lines before beginning this project so hopefully this information helps someone.
