Any conclusions on front oil seal supplier? 200 1988

I am replacing the front oil seals while doing the timing belt.

The original seals are a reddish orange. I do not see any markings on them but I haven't pulled out a magnifier.

Looking on-line, opinions are all over the place on what replacements to buy.
"get the grey ones",
"get the brown ones",
"don't get the orange ones",
"so and so is hit and miss on sizing",
"only get viton material seals",
"Genuine Volvo seals are very tight and require a special tool"
... ??

Do any long term owners have any conclusions on front oil seals to use without regret?
