Don't seek the truth, with ever less critical notion 200

On the facebook Volvo 240 fan club page, this issue is rampant.

Some appear as Generation X (late 1970s-ealy 1980s) yet more so Generation Y.

They want the 240, yet without the responsibility. Or the responsibility to learn what to diagnose and service after purchase. They ask question on springs and how to cut them. Treat it as a cheap ride and continue the 240 lifetime of neglect two or six owners on.

They seem to be without critical notion, want immediate satiation of a need or want (have issue distinguishing the two), thrive on the notion of the 240 and RWD Volvo durability and economy, yet without preemptive care.

The drive towards unending share holder profit at the middle class-expense (institutions, Noam Chomsky?). It is no mistake. The debt-based fiat currency (it is not money) US dollar has and is rapidly losing value. Yet younger generations pay no heed. Whatever is more convenient. Using credit to pay for immediate consumables like gasoline or craft beer beverages at the brewery. Indeed, pre-mix 50/50 coolant at the front of the store. Or will use tap water. So we remind them repeatedly.

On that same forum, you will see many that will neglect the recently purchased 240, and a transmission fails, or they blow an engine (a green 1982 245 with B23, I ask how, no reply and wants to stuff some 240 engine into it for less than free.

Entitlement to continue without critical notion in the nation of scams. It appears a much larger issue affecting and effecting the populous. Much like, as I've made mention, voting for a failed two-party system repeatedly that serves Wall Street exclusively.

As does the bottle of 50/50 premix coolant Phil Machine Man Mentions.

My MA diploma in Communication / Rhetoric at work. Heavy on the dialectic and rhetorical criticism. Thanks to Kenneth Burke in part.
