M47-Backup Light Switch / Repair Shop Recommendations (NM) 200

I am in the process of moving across the country (back) which means I am in need of a new mechanic. There are some things I love to do and some things I cannot do. I have a 1990 Volvo 240 Wagon with an M-47 and about 335,000 miles.

The wiring on the Backup Light Switch is once again ready to be replaced/rewired and I have it all done, except I am not able to attach the wires to the switch. I spent about 1 1/2 hours last weekend under the car and was not able to get the wired on. I know it is not that difficult because I saw someone else do in in about 15-20 minutes. Please help, if you can.

Also, I am looking for a reputable and good Volvo mechanic in New Mexico (I don't mind driving a bit if needed).

I know it has been a long time since I have been able to visit the board but I could surely use some help :-)

Thanks in advance.

Todd
