This post was in no forum, so only those who look at "ALL" rwd cars would find it.

A '93 240 does neutral safety just like its predecessors -- no Microswitch, just that pizza slice thing. The interlock with the ignition switch is mechanical, and the shiftlock release is what's different from '92.

Use a screwdriver to crank it? Sure. Just be sure the p-brake is set if you're not sure where the selector is.
