Greetings to all ~

SRS code 5 - 1991 240 = The SRS light came after I had made a turn with the steering wheel turned to the maximum. The steering rack seemed to screech out. The steering is fine on the car, I reset the SRS light to turn off, but when I drove off the light returned with the same code 5. Could it be that when the steering wheel was to its maximum it caused a problem within the steering wheel column?

"Corrective Actions - Check gas generator connector. Check wiring and contact reel for open circuit. Replace air bag module.
