High Beam and O/D Indicator Light Dimmer 1800 1973

OK, here's a couple questions. There's a small switch under the dash, by the driver's vent control, that dims the O/D and high beam indicator lights by means of a couple internal resistors - separate resistors for each of the indicators. The back of the switch says one terminal is 39 ohms and the other is 100 ohms. So which indicator is wired to which terminal?

Also was there a standard for whether you throw the switch UP or DOWN for dimming? (I know, I need to get a life.)

Also is there a standard location to mount the flasher unit. Mine is hanging from the harness right now and it looks like it might mount on the back of the speedo or tach by one of the thumb nuts. The flare has a small hole for mounting, it's not one of barbed clip-on things.

Thanks again!
