I have a perfectly operating power steering system. Properly bled, top quality fluid used, new out of the box pump, yet it whines at low engine speed.
Belt is new and tension properly set, pulley alignment perfect. I've checked all the boxes, yet it whines.
Could my new pump be another quality part made in China?
Should I source an OEM pump from my Pick-A-Part yard?
Fresh rebuild on this B230FT and it runs great! I don't want to listen to some two-bit power steering pump making noise...
