Blaupunkt Radio Questions 1800 1973

I've got an old Blaupunkt stereo AM/FM radio that I'd like to install in my project 1800. It works fine on the workbench but it's missing it's knobs. It's got "D" shafts for the ON/OFF/Volume and Tuner control and behind those knobs there are split shafts that control ??? I assume tone, balance, what-have-you. In addition, the LH (volume) shaft pulls in and out, and I assume it controls either the balance or the tone when it's in the pulled-out position. Everything seems to be OK with the radio except that the LH split shaft don't seem to want to move. Does anyone happen to know if it is even supposed to rotate or might it be fixed (non-operative)?

Also, would anyone happen to know where I can source all four knobs? I think I've found the D-shaft knobs but they want my first born. At least it seems that way for a couple stupid plastic knobs. No luck at all locating the split shaft knobs.
