I have had a tool for years that I've yet to use and doubt that I ever will. Someone else may want it.
I think that this permits you to pull lifters out of the block from the top without pulling the cam.
It's got a sticker on it that says Volvo special tool. The number on top of the knurled knob is 999 2424. It weighs about 7.5 ounces and it about 6-1/2" long.
It may be listed or shown in a tools list in the engine section of a manual. I can send a picture if someone wants to see it. Looks to be never used.

For $15 + shipping this can grow older your tool box.
