Early k Jet cruise control kit ID questions 200

Hello brickboarders
I have not been on this forum in a while but glad to see my login still works haha
I need this board's advice:
I recently purchased an early cruise kit for my 242 GT as it was missing the option and I drive it a lot on long drives sadly it was only to find out that it was not compatible with the R-sport cluster that is in the car..... I know right?....
I am obviously not reverting to the original cluster so I will probably sell it or trade it for something more useful to me
I am trying to figure out if it s indeed for the years I was told it were namely up to 1980, and complete
I also would like to get an idea of its value, I have seen kits on eBay for very good money, albeit mine is not OEM MIB etc

Let me know what you think and if there are specific parts I should make sure are in the kit
Of course if you know how to adapt it to the R-Sport cluster I will gladly hear it
Thank you all for the advice and help

edit: tried to upload pics but they come up huuuuge and dont understand how to put more than one at a time so here is a link to the album:
