240 Hood latch problems 200 1989

I think that you may have bent the hinge mounts when the passenger hinge bent.

Take a good look at the hinge mounts and hinges to see if they look proper.

I had the driver's side hinge bend and break on my '91 745 just like the photo in brikpix standby.

The PO had an indie do his maintenance and they never lubed the hinges - we should lube them because I found out that the pins in the hinge are well made and very tight when I tried to take it apart.
