Can't Start S90 after Battery Removal. Security System Is Locking Out Starter. How do I reset the Lockout? S90-V90 1998

Hi all: This topic has been discussed before but I cannot locate it in the S90/960 archives.

After removing the battery from my 1998 S90, the security system is now preventing the car from starting (won't crank).

All dash lights will come on, but the car will not crank. The security alarm then sounds.

I have read before that there is some type of sequence that needs to be gone thru to clear this lockout. Things like opening the doors in a certain order, putting the key in the door lock and turning multiple time quickly, letting the car sit with the new battery in it for a few hours, etc.

Any suggestions or info would be appreciated

Thanks ... Mr. Tool
