... and a LH-Jet later version PCV piping question ... blue stripey PCV pipey .... 200 1992

Speaking of the PCV ... would you folks know where to get long lengths of the PCV piping from the top of the breather box that they flame arrestor sieve housing sets into. I'd like to have the arrestor at a higher elevation.

Is there something after market that is suitable to buy lengths of this?

These black UV-resist chinesium plastic tie straps I used on my 1992 to secure the still sort of supple blue stripey PCV vapor hose relaxed in the underhood conditions.

Yet the same tie straps at the PCV flame arrestor end were snug and secure as you can see in the images.

The fuel ECU set one of the lean or rich condition at idle faults. Fixed it.

I cut some new plastic zip tie straps of the same chinesium so it would secure to the top of the breather box.

And the Gates PCV thin vapor line on the idle spigot in the flame arrestor body is cheap garbage. Splitting at ends already after barely 18 months.

Merely interested in the blue stripey PCV hose yet longer than the section from in iPd PCV relocation kit. I'll try the stealership again.

The plastic zip tie straps in my collection from the 1970s to the mid or so 1990s, all made in USA, did not fail on prior 240, other Volvo (for acquaintances), and other under hood auto applications.

You set the pretension around the vacuum line or other air-induction hose, so it slides on securely and snugly and air-tightly and they hold with reare replacement need. These were not UV resist and most were white-ish color plastic. Yet I've run out of the large 1980s plastic zp ties I'd use for the 1989+ PCV piping.

Not enough room with the coolant hose connection right there next to the top of the PCV breather box to use a even a small clamp.

Thanks and Happy Caturday!
