Front crank seal carrier b230f 900 1993

Hello Bricksters,

I'm about to begin front seal replacement on the wife's 93 940.

I attempted the job last fall and found the front seal carrier screws loose. Presuming that the oil leak which was not significant was coming from the edge of the seal carrier I tightened up the screws and left the seals alone. Unfortunately the leak has continued and at this time I will replace front seals and seal carrier gasket. However I have never removed the front seal carrier on the b230f and have some apprehension. Can anyone give me any tips or suggestions to ensure there aren't any screw-ups.

Thanks in advance

Marty Wolfson
