bubble flare 200

Hey oldduke I wonder if the original brickers ever hooked up and a used brake line solved the original question? Anyhow, bubble flare is not difficult especially with that soft cupro-nickel material. The adapter dies are the same as you get in a set for making double flares; they just get used on the flat side of the bar instead of the side with the cone. The trickiness is in getting the protruding length right first time. I use a Ridgid brand bar and the double adapter set from a Sears Roebuck kit. Nothing exotic or special to Volvo. I think all Euro brakes use bubble (ISO) flares.
