I have recommended that Nissan pump on more than 1 occasion, but no one has decided to use 1, opting for either a cheaper universal fuel pump or a Bosch NOS original OEM fuel pump.
The cheaper replacement fuel pump option I have used is a universal pump.
The are several versions of the pump and I strongly suggest avoiding the versions that use a brass fitting that screws onto plastic threads for the inlet/suction of the fuel pump.
The version I use has a metal end with a integral metal inlet nipple.
And don't be tempted to get the cheap versions of these pumps. A couple of years ago there was a batch of really cheap(under $30.00) universal electric fuel pumps and a couple of my customers bought them. 1 customer installed his own, the other had me install the pump and in both cases, the pumps only lasted a few months.
FYI, 1 of the local Volvo repair shops recently showed me their way, which is to use a later Bosch fuel pump for the 240 Volvos, but you need some used odds and ends the make it work that they sourced from their used parts pile.
