the old hydraulic floor jack trick

Did it by any chance have the good ol’ “Craftsman tool” lifetime guarantee? I’ve found it amazing what they’ve simply replaced over the years - try that if you haven’t before they’re out of business.....probably WHY they’re almost out of business.

Since that likely won’t work/you’ve already tried (because self proclaimed cheap bastard) take apart the jack and see what you find....you have nothing to lose, it’s broke. If a good cleaning won’t do it, or you can’t get a part/seal - buy another jack. You more than got your money’s worth on that one. If you don’t trust HF, uh, don’t buy at Harbor Freight.
