#2 coil not firing, all others OK S90-V90

hello. I have since learned that there are in fact 2 Ignition Control Modules,
(Bosch pn. 227 100 203) mounted front and rear on the lower portion of the intake manifold. the front controls coils 1,3,5, and the rear controls coils 2,4,6.
as per AllData, each module contains 3 ignition driver stages connected to a coil.
it is now my hope that the rear ICM is faulty and not sending an ignition pulse signal to coil #2. and I will replace the module. please offer your comments,
suggestions,and helpful info. Thanks
