Art - off topic Fuses 200

Another outlet that may be useful is All Electronics in Van Nuys, CA.

https://www.allelectronics.com/

You can find oddities there. Dunno if helpful to you.

I have some first gen solid state silverface receiver amps, primarily Allied / Pioneer and a Dynakit tubed preamp with 6X4 (not so full-wave) rectifier and 12AU7 / 12AX7 / 12AT& / 5751 preamp tubes.

For the FM receiver part or the amp, not so much is broadcast anymore I'd like to hear anyway. Yet what the tubed preamp does to lossless and lossy streaming audio may be helpful. Pure DC to the tube filaments (heaters)?

All need a recap. For some decades. Some other components like new diodes in the power supply rectifier bridge.

One wonders of the D-Jet, K-jet / Electronic ignition, Chrysler MPG ignition module, and the LH-Jet / EZK modules needing a recap and like component replacement. As NASA-like overbuilt they are. (Yoda speak.)

Nice to have a bench with a vice and good lighting and a range of solders someday soon again. Central air. A structure with some manner or resistance to vapor intrusion in the slovenly st louis back bay bayou swamp. No more slab living.

Likes the Pb with the Sn. Unsure of the Pb-less RoHS Sn and Ag solder and the eventual tin whiskers.
