No spark, bad ECU? 200 1989

just picked this brick up for a steal not running. 160k, 1989 244. Can’t get any spark, not sure about injector pulse. PO pulled out ECU and some other electronics. Cleaned and reassembled as best i know how. I have fuel pump, and engine crank. +12v to the coil, coil ohms at ~1.1 ohm. What are some telltale signs or some tests i can do to confirm or further diagnose this possible ECU problem?
