Hiya Uncle Old Duke!!!!

Your 1992 Volvo 240 Wagon does *not* have a roof rack, er, rather has not ever had a roof rack.

Yeah, forgot to mention the cowl as a source of leaks as Mr. J Walker mentions.

The drain holes at either corner, or near them, at the bottom of the 240 windshield pan, drain into the same space the under the windshield and behind the hood vents drain into.

And you do not smell coolant smell as Mr. Michael Yount points out somewheres.

So, water is leaking into the right side of the passenger foot well, from under the kick panel the conceals the LH-Jetronic 2.4 fuel injection ECU computer, yes. Same side as the front passenger side door hinge?

The ignition and more so the fuel injection ECU boxes are not water tight.

Not ever melodramatic!!!!
