neutral start switch ??? no start 200 1989

hi everyone. having trouble starting. turn key nothing. full charge battery, jump solenoid from battery, starts right up. checked yellow/blue⎾] wire during start 1 volt. have questions. is there any place this wire connect before starter. 2nd went to neutral switch found yellow/blue wire. has anyone ever open one to check is this possible? next which wire bring power to it from ignition [color please if known] also same for ignition to fuse panel. there must bad connect. have seen diagram but being electrical illiterate cannot make heads or tails of it. thanks
