AW-70 transmission removal, 1989+ 240 with LH 2.4 200 1989

I've recently removed and re-installed the automatic transmission from three 240s with LH 2.4. LH 2.4 uses a tone ring for ignition timing. The tone ring protrudes from the drive plate, and the transmission is very difficult to get out, and re-install over the tone ring. I found that removing the four crossmember bolts, and letting the crossmember and engine assembly hang in the car allowed the transmission to be easily removed and re-installed.
