Need help with newly acquired 240DL 200 1988

284k+ on on-functioning odometer, AT with overdrive that works. Last month, it passed smog, but there are no maintenance records, eg PS reservoir and AT levels empty.

What does yellow shift arrow on and off mean? I can't tell whether overdrive is on with the shift arrow on or off.

While driving, I hear a humble/rum. What's the cause?

Car just started stumbling/shaking at idle. What are the causes?

Windshield wipers are REALLY slow, even in fast mode. Is the wiper motor bad and/or power?

So that I'm not missing anything, what other maintenance should I do (eg please specify "all fluids should be changed)?
