hi kit g- on this forum you , art b and a few others have been very helpful over the years in helping me fix the 245 conundrums and avoiding the cleaners from the shysters. I fear though this time we are cornered at Bastogne with no clips left for our thompsons or .45s. none of those sources panned out . thanks for the tip on the url links. it worked. no 240s left in the yard here . seems even fcp and ipd on this item have gone the way of the clutch pedal. with even sears now circling the bowl,may have to jerry rig and fabricate a repair . moe said what are you worrying about. you know how many times we had to do that on the beach with the shermans . another suggested whittling. never thought of that one. if you have a way out of point du hoc, let me know. thanks tons oldduke
