Installing 123 Ignition and Bosch Red Coil 1800 1966

Hello,

I have a 1966 P1800 with a B20B. I have purchased the 123 Distributor and Bosch Red Coil. The coil that is installed has the armored cable. I have access to the + wire inside of cable and I understand that it goes to + on top of the coil. My question is about ground. How was the original coil grounded? Was it via the armored cable?
