Good day,

I have a 1990 740 that needs a new stereo-tape unit. Currently model is TD 6141. It has the one black rectangular connector screwed to the unit chassis.

I have no motivation to go with aftermarket.

Does a CR-814 anti-theft stereo unit from a 940 work; plug and play no cut and splice?

I see the cabling seems different.
