Tire size for Multi-X wheel on a 1990 780 Bertone 700

Good morning. I have a 1990 780 Bertone When I bought the car a year ago it came with 205 60 15. I went to Costconto buy replacement tires and they would not sell me that size for the car. They said it calls for 195 65 15. That is what the sticker on the door suggests. A friend of mine has a 89 and a 91 coupe and they both call for the 205 60 15. Why the difference? What tires do I really want on the car? Thanks for any advice.
